Stop by The Apprenticeshop for an Open House showcasing our Carney 8’ Prams!

Designed by Shop Director Kevin Carney, these sturdy lapstrake sail-and-row boats are built by Junior Apprentices over the course of the academic year and used by youth in our Summer and Fall Sailing programs. Since 2023, we have been launching a couple of these prams each year with the goal to fill out a fleet of traditionally-built boats that we can build and repair in house.

Enjoy light refreshments, meet the builders, and learn more about this exciting project. We hope to see you there!
