This week, our very own Youth Program Director and Break the Anchor project leader, João Strout-Bentes, was featured in the Penobscot Bay Pilot. A while back, João approached the land trust about using some downed spruce trees at Ash Point Preserve for the spars of his Canoa de Picada. With their blessing, João will remove the trees and transport them back to the Apprenticeshop by water. Click here to read the article →
