Saturday, Sept. 17th
3:00 - 4:00pm

UPDATE: Hi folks - due to the weather and uncertainty about what out power situation will look like tomorrow, we’re going to postpone this event. We hope to have a rain date soon—thanks for your understanding and keep an eye out for when we can reschedule!

You’re invited for an open house at The ‘Shop this weekend… with a special guest. We’re thrilled that Marc Evan Jackson will be joining us to talk all things traditional wooden boats, and help us show you around what’s happening on the shop floor and waterfront!

Some exciting highlights include two new Susan Skiffs in production, hull fairing of the Dublin Bay, our newly-launched Carney 8’ prams and foundation work for our new waterfront pavilion.

You may know Marc from his Hollywood roles in Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, or Parks and Recreation. You might not know that he crewed aboard Maine Windjammers 30 years ago, long before he took to the screens. Like many of us, his love of these historic vessels and the gorgeous coastal waters they call home lingered. Last year he became part-owner of the Schooner Grace Bailey, and frequently cruises with guests and crew.

Join us on Sunday, September 17th from 3-4pm to meet, mingle and see what we’ve been up to!
