Our pilot for the Penobscot Bay Leadership program, which was done in collaboration with Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership and Outward Bound. In 2018, we will run programs for local boys and girls.

The Fisherman's Academy students from Oceanside High School learn by doing at the 'Shop while incorporating STEAM targets. These students went from being on the verge of dropping out to exceling and enjoying learning.


What does it mean to work together? On any given day at the Apprenticeshop, either on the shop floor or out on Rockland Harbor, you will find individuals working together toward common goals: to learn new skills in boatbuilding, sailing, and seamanship in a hands-on, collaborative way.

Coastal Family Hospice and The Apprenticeshop collaborate to fundraise with our High School Team Race Regatta every spring. It is an incredible race for a great cause!
