PBLC 2018 14-day course!

0.00

Through hands-on engagement in seamanship, science, and sailing, the Penobscot Bay Leadership Collaborative will get kids off their phones, working together to create solutions in their own backyards. This 14-day pilot program for area youth aged 13 and 14 will, in turn, inspire innovation, excite curiosity, and provide challenge, allowing the boys to apply their learnings from the field as both leaders and team players well into the future.

The Apprenticeshop, the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership, and the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School have united around a shared vision: to foster the development of character in midcoast youth. Each of these extraordinary organizations has a history of delivering powerful experiences, and for the first time, we are coming together to offer a program coalescing our respective strengths to develop leadership and create a lasting impact in the community.

In 2018 we offer both a boys and girls boat to those entering into 9th grade.  We offer excellent scholarships and financial aid and will never leave a student behind because of cost.
