Carl W. Lindquist, M.D. is a retired ophthalmologist who moors his ”non-tall ship” at the Apprenticeshop. What began as small boat sailing in childhood evolved into tall ship challenges in his retirement years. He has crewed on square rigged ships for multiple ocean crossings. As John Masefield wrote: ”….all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by…”
