LEVEL II (INTERMEDIATE SAILING) Taught in a variety of boats including Optimist prams, traditional wooden boats, and small keel boats, this class is for the intermediate sailor who is ready to take their skills to the next level. Students will be taught more advanced boat handling and sail trim techniques, maximizing their boat’s best performance which should bring smiles to their faces! Sailors are introduced to racing, fun drills and friendly competition. At the Instructor’s discretion and student’s skill level and confidence, they may be invited to day long area regattas. Rules of the Road and seamanship including basic chart work and knot tying, will be integrated each day. Class Size limit: 12 Private Optimists are welcome.
