Sailing programs at The Apprenticeshop provide fun and exciting seamanship and sailing classes in spring, summer and fall.  Our summer program gets students ages 5-18 out rigging and sailing while learning safety, tides, weather, knots, racing, and seamanship skills. Participants develop self-confidence, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while forming connections to the maritime environment that last a lifetime. Our instructors are life-long sailors with a passion for teaching and sharing the joy of sailing with others.  Each class curriculum is designed to progress to the next class, ensuring that all sailors are engaged in meaningful learning at their skill level.

SCHOLARSHIPS  We strive to make our programs available regardless of financial considerations. Thanks to the generous support from individual donors and foundations, we are able to provide scholarships to local sailors who would not otherwise be able to afford a sailing experience.
